I really hope it loosely translates to "Harry Potter and the Death of Harry Potter".

Hallows - All Hallows Eve - Spirits
Harry Potter and the Deathly Spirits.
I predict it's about the dead people in his life. His parents, Sirius, Dumbledore. I predict it will be about wrapping up the ghosts of the past and getting on with your life.

I am intrigued by the fact that it's Deathly Hallows, rather than Deadly Hallows... Need more time to ponder this... So many questions unanswered!! (What is it? Is it a place? Where is it? What significance does it have?)

not to mention the fact that "Hallow" is a verb and not a noun. To Hallow is to make sacred, (as in 'hallowed by thy name'), so hallows is a current tense third person verb.. (i can't believe i know that.. haven't studied english in years).. so it really is a weird one..

maybe Harry will end up making some grounds at hogwarts sacred by killing voldemort there.. or something.. or by matyring himself..

True... and "hallowed" is an adjective as well, meaning "holy" or "sacred", so I'm just assuming that "hallows" refers to things/places that are seen as holy or sacred. I honestly think that "Deathly Hallows" refers to places (a place?).

Although, I did see something on another forum (http://www.cosforums.com/showthread.php?t=99275 and http://cosforums.com/showthread.php?t=99236) mentioning the connection to Halloween (All Hallows Eve), and that that night is supposed to be "when the Veil Between the Worlds grows thin and the spirits of the dead may return to Earth." So... I'm seeing a connection to the Veil room in the MoM, there. And someone else on the forum (second link, I believe) talked about "hallow" being an alternate spelling of "hallo," meaning shouting. They also linked that to the voices behind the veil.

Maybe he won't make the grounds at Hogwarts sacred... but he could have to go to hallowed ground in order to kill Voldemort, or something...
